ECCelerate 4.02 released!


We proudly present a new maintenance release of our IAIK ECCelerate™ elliptic curve library! Version 4.02 fixes minor bugs. IAIK ECCelerate™ is based on Java 6 technology and has been thoroughly optimized for speed. Currently, it supports ECDSA, ECDH, ECIES and optionally ECMQV.

IAIK-JCE 5.4 released!


We have released a new version of our new IAIK-JCE crypto toolkit! Version 5.4 fixes a synchronization issue in the SecureRandom API. The jar files are now double-signed with with the old and new IAIK JCE certificates.

Performance-optimized AES Implementation for Renesas RL78 Microcontroller

For RL78 microcontrollers we offer a performance and code-size optimized AES implementation. The implementation is written and optimized in assembly and provides a simple interface implemented in C.

    • On-the-fly roundkey generation
    • Automatic decryption key calculation

    • AES-128 encryption in ECB mode in 3112 instruction cycles
    • AES-128 decryption in ECB mode in 4872 instruction cycles
    • AES-128 encryption in CBC mode in 3380 instruction cycles
    • AES-128 decryption in CBC mode in 5266 instruction cycles

    • Codesize for AES-128 ECB mode is 2140 bytes
    • Codesize for AES-128 CBC mode is 2227 bytes
